RJ Williams – Tournament Chairman

RJ Williams is the Co-Founder and CEO of inDirectIT, where he leverages extensive experience in IT leadership and strategic vision to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions. With a strong background in cloud architecture, management information systems, product management, and operational technology, RJ brings a unique ability to align technology with business goals and compliance requirements.
Throughout his career, he has guided organizations through complex compliance frameworks such as CMMC and NIST 800-171, while driving innovation and efficiency in IT operations. Known for his ability to simplify the complex, RJ is passionate about building technology environments that empower businesses to grow securely and confidently.
Eric Levitas – Tournament Co-Chair

Eric Levitas, VP of Business Development at ControlCase, helps organizations in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) achieve compliance and audit readiness. At ControlCase, a leading 3PAO and C3PAO, he supports federal contractors in navigating CMMC, FedRAMP & StateRAMP
Fun fact: He spent 10 years as a master club fitter in the golf industry.
Matt Somerman – Sponsorship & Marketing

Matt Somerman serves as Director of Business Development at RSM US LLP, specializing in the full life cycle of CMMC. He supports organizations at every stage of their compliance journey, including CMMC and NIST-aligned advisory, technical enablement and Microsoft 365 GCC High deployments, managed IT and security services, and certification through RSM’s accreditation as a C3PAO.
Katherine Kernus – Hospitality & Guest Experience

For more than 25 years, Cat Spears has bridged the worlds of business operations and information technology, excelling at navigating each domain’s unique demands and transforming complexity into clarity. Today, she channels that expertise into a range of emerging GRC initiatives, leading the charge toward a successful OSC CMMC Level 2 certification. Driven by a passion for continuous growth, Cat is pursuing her CCP in 2025 with plans to achieve CCA, underscoring her dedication to excellence in compliance and cybersecurity.
John Tran – Player Coordinator

John Tran has over 20 years of experience in scientific and engineering domains. He conducted research on algorithms and optimization at SLAC, ISI, and NASA JPL, and is now co-founder and CTO of Calico InfoSec, specializing in automated security compliance.
