Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and opened for play in 1981, Woodmore has earned a reputation as one of the Washington region's most respected championship venues. The layout rewards thoughtful play: doglegs, elevation changes, and water in play across much of the property.

The club traces its history to 1923 and has hosted championship events including U.S. Open qualifiers. Located in Prince George's County, it sits roughly 30 minutes from National Harbor and the Gaylord National Resort, making it an easy addition to your CS5 East travel plans.

Playing for Folds of Honor

The 2026 CS5 East Charity Golf Tournament proudly supports Folds of Honor, a nonprofit founded in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members and first responders.

Since its founding, Folds of Honor has awarded tens of thousands of scholarships to military and first responder families, supporting students from kindergarten through higher education. For a community built around protecting the mission and the people who carry it out, there is no better cause to play for.

Proceeds from player registrations and sponsorships go directly to the Folds of Honor scholarship fund. Our Presenting Sponsor is invited to join the check presentation ceremony with the organization.
